Datacenter and Technology
Our first-class datacenter is fully owned and operated by us. The datacenter employs industry standard best practices
and only consistently proven technologies are used. The layout of the datacenter allows for efficient climate management
(temperature and humidity control, airflow, and exhaust removal). Our on-site network operations center (NOC) monitors the
datacenter at all times and is fully prepared to handle any situation that may arise. In the event of a commercial power
outage, the datacenter and NOC are kept online by our battery and generator back-up system.
We works with many products through the beta to release stage in order to ensure that we are familiar with new
technology. This makes sure we are able to support emerging technologies and products as soon as they are released.
The datacenter consists of pure-bred hardware, meaning we do not use mixed brands for our equipment. This means that in
the event of a hardware failure, we can quickly replace the failing or failed component instantly form our replacement
hardware repository. The following brands supply all of our hardware and supplies:
- TYAN provides all of our server systems.
- Dell provides all of our workstations.
- We only use hardware RAID solutions by 3Ware.
- APC provides battery-backup, temperature control, power management, and all network infrastructure products (racks, enclosures, and cable management).
